The Festival

FARE is a unique festival that brings together craft beer, small batch spirits, local wines, and some of the best restaurants in the Philadelphia area.  Beers from each of the breweries are being hand picked to bring what we think are some of their best offerings. A handful of brewers and representatives will be on hand as well to discuss their craft. Local, craft distillers will also be on hand to walk you through their fine beverages.  Because you can’t spend hours drinking without good food, we’ve invited some of the best restaurants in the Philadelphia area to come out to the suburbs to give you a rare chance to try their incredible cuisine.

This event is being put on by Fermented Productions in conjunction with the Doylestown Fire Company No. 1, a 100% volunteer firehouse. A portion of the proceeds to benefit the fire department.

The Deets:

Brewers and chefs will be on hand from (12-1 p.m.) presenting the art of their trade taking part in small, interactive group sessions that will be available throughout the hour VIP session. Attendees will be given a souvenir glass to wander freely sampling from visiting Philadelphia area eateries, breweries, distilleries and wineries. Drink and food samples from our participating FARE partners will be butlered throughout the event in addition to our 50 drink and food stations.

Doors open at 12 pm for the VIP session (12 – 1pm)
General Admission: 1 – 4 pm

The Venue:

Right in our backyard lays a big piece of American history, of the most important race of our nation, “The Race to the Moon”. Every lunar mission and its astronauts came to Warminster, Pa to train at the Centerfuge. Today, operating as a museum and events venue, the “Fuge” houses most of its original equipment including the Centerfuge simulator. On April 13, 2013 FARE Philadelphia will share this historical venue. www.rentthefuge.com

Transportation:

FARE will be providing shuttle services to and from the Warminster Train Station throughout the duration of the event. Fermented Productions does not condone drinking and driving and strongly encourages all of the event’s attendees to plan their festival trip to include a designated driver.

The Warminster Train Station is only a 3 minute shuttle ride to the event! You can find train schedules and more here: http://www.septa.org/stations/rail/warminster.html
